Ellie’s Y3P Challenge!

My Story

This July, me and one of my dearest gal pals Phoebe, will be taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge! ⛰️

12 hours, 24 - miles, and a 1585m ascent, what could go wrong...

Although in part a personal challenge, it is also a chance to give back to others. I have decided to raise money for the ASOS Foundation - a foundation that has been supporting young people to overcome barriers and reach their full potential for over 15 years, and has donated £8m so far to its current charity partners (more info on this below)👏

Thank you so much to Neylissa Neto da Silva, the ASOS Foundation Events & Engagement officer who has been a massive support to me doing this challenge, and for educating me on the amazing work they are currently working on 💙

Any donations are massively appreciated, no matter how big or small, and will make a huge difference!! (As well as motivating me to carry on through the expected blisters and self - doubt when scrambling up rocks🥲)

Catch you on the other side!

Centrepoint

"Centrepoint is the UK's leading youth homelessness charity. Together, we are driving their mission to transform lives and support young people currently homeless or at risk of homelessness.

The foundation provided over £2.5m in crucial financial support, and over £250,000 in pro bono expertise, but one of our proudest shared achievements is the Centrepoint Helpline. Launched in 2017 with funding from the ASOS Foundation, it was the first helpline in the UK dedicated to young people aged 16–25 facing homelessness. Since then, it’s supported over 47,000 young people with expert advice on emergency housing, rights, and staying safe. "

"We’re proud to be a key partner in OnSide’s brand-new Youth Zone in Barnsley; Base71. The Youth Zone will provide young people with access to over 20 different activities every week—from music production and climbing to dance, sport, and digital skills. But more importantly, it offers a place to belong, grow, and dream bigger. Once open, the centre is expected to welcome around 4,000 members in its first year, with up to 150 attending every evening. Many of these young people have faced significant challenges and will finally have somewhere to go, something to do, and someone to talk to."
